Celebrate Irish spirit and community at the 17th Annual CNB Fleadh 5K, a festive and challenging run through the historic neighborhoods of Oak Forest on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Pronounced "flah," a fleadh is a Gaelic festival, and this event perfectly blends fitness, family, and fun to kick off the spring running season. The scenic course winds past local landmarks like St. Damian Church and Oak Forest High School, offering a vibrant tour decked out in green with enthusiastic crowd support.
Start your day with the 8:30 AM race, where participants receive a commemorative T-shirt and goodie bag, then join the Family Parade at 11 AM for a chance to hunt for the hidden $1000 Golden Ticket along the route. The post-race celebration at the Oak Forest Fire Station features refreshments, sponsor booths, and awards, capping off a day meant to be enjoyed all around town.
