C'mon Armageddon

The C'mon Armageddon trail race is scheduled for Sunday, May 17, 2026, in West Milford, New Jersey. This event is widely considered one of the most difficult trail races in the state, featuring highly technical terrain, boulder fields, and river crossings within Norvin Green State Park and the Old Jungle Habitat. The 50K distance offers over 7,000 feet of vertical gain, providing runners with views of the New York City skyline from various mountain peaks.

The 50K distance requires mandatory safety gear, including a headlamp, at least 1 liter of hydration capacity, 400 calories of food, a windbreaker, and a GPX route loaded onto a device. The event is managed by The Running Kind and follows a zero-carbon initiative, which includes carbon offsets for participant travel. Cutoffs are strictly enforced, with the final 50K cutoff set for 7:00 PM (12 hours after the start). Awards are presented to the top male, female, and non-binary finishers in each distance.
