CLOSEST TO 5KM WINS, THE BLIND 5K

On October 17, 2026, runners are invited to participate in an unconventional and playful twist on the traditional race format: Run Free 5k. This unique event challenges participants to complete a scenic 5-kilometer course without relying on their fitness trackers or timing devices. The goal is simple yet surprisingly difficult: run without checking your pace or distance for the entire duration of the race.
The atmosphere at this event is relaxed and supportive, with runners encouraging each other to stay off their gadgets and embrace the present moment. Prizes are awarded to the runner who comes closest to another participant at the finish line, adding an element of friendly competition and camaraderie among participants.
Set against a backdrop that offers both natural beauty and urban charm, Run Free 5k is more than just a race; it's an opportunity for runners to reconnect with their love for running in its purest form.
