CLOSEST TO 5KM WINS, THE BLIND 5K

On October 10, 2026, runners are invited to participate in an unconventional 5K challenge that encourages them to disconnect from technology and embrace the present moment. The race takes place in a scenic park setting where participants will navigate winding trails and open pathways without relying on their fitness trackers or smartphones. Instead of competing for speed, the goal is simple: avoid being the closest runner at the finish line. This unique format fosters camaraderie among competitors as they strategize to maintain distance from one another throughout the race. The event promises a refreshing break from competitive racing norms and an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature while focusing on personal pacing.
The atmosphere is relaxed, with no time limit imposed, allowing runners to set their own pace according to comfort and strategy. As participants cross the finish line, excitement builds as they await the announcement of who managed to stay furthest from others, making this a memorable event for all involved.
