Clear Creek Ultra

The Clear Creek Ultra is more of a running party than a race. For the low price of $25, you can camp all weekend, enjoy good food and drink, and run an ultra while you are there.

Race Details

TIME: Saturday 7am - 5pm. Whether you are running 3 loops or going for a 50k, just be sure to finish your last loop by 5 pm. COURSE: The course is a single track, one mile loop. Creeks are crossed, hills are to be conquered. This mile loop is deceivingly cruel but too beautiful not to run again and again. When you are done running, grab some hydration and walk a few laps with friends :) AID STATION: There will be one aid station at the start/finish with water, Tailwind sports drink, and food. Runners are also encouraged to set up and utilize their own aid. REGISTRATION: Cost is only $25 which covers food, drink, toilets, and a few other amenities. There will be no t-shirt, individual or place awards, or other normal swag. Your accomplishment is your award :) And remember, MUTS does not offer refunds, transfers, or deferrals. There will be no member discount for this race. LOCATION: The start/finish is located at 1074 Rhymes Road, Crystal Springs, Mississippi. These are private trails so please have the property owners permission before doing a test run!! RESULTS: All participants will be required to keep track of the number of loops they run over the 10-hour time limit. Final results must be self-reported into UltraSignup by each participant. A race clock will be provided at the start/finish. GRAND SLAM: Those wishing to become Ultra/Big Dogs must complete a 50k and Puppy Dogs must complete at least one lap. All other participants not eligible for the Grand Slam may run any distance.

Fun Details

CAMPING: There is plenty of room for parking and camping at the start/finish. Please pitch a tent and spend Friday/Saturday night. You will be given the opportunity to let us know during registration if you will join us so that we can plan accordingly. We encourage you to bring along family and friends for the fun. However, while we all love our dogs, our hosts have dogs and chickens of their own so we request that everyone leave their furry friends at home :(
