Chilly Chili 5K, Team Awards and Chili Competition

Bloomsday Road Runners Club's (BRRC) is proud to announce the return of the BRRC Chilly Chili 5K. The BRRC Chilly Chili 5k will be held at the Spokane County Moran Prairie Grange in 2026. Whether you run, walk or take refuge in the Grange, we will reward you for your efforts by hosting a Chili Competition, an Awards Ceremony and Music.  As BRRC has always done, we will have a gun start with a chip timed finish. The starting line will be in the parking lot of the Moran Prairie Grange, turning right onto 61st Ave heading west. Then turn left at S. Freya St. heading South to 65th Ave where you will turn right heading West on 65th until you get to get to S. Regal Rd at which time you will turn Left heading South.  You will run down a hill and then back up a hill to the turn around at the top of the hill where there will be a water station, make the turn around and run the same course back to the finish at the Grange.  In the Grange you will have the comfort of a heated facility, Chili and hot/cold drinks during the awards presentation.

Registration:

• $25 General online Race Registration, includes Chili Cook-Off Competition, Awards and Music.   $30 Day of Race Registration, includes Chili Cook-Off Competition, Awards and Music.

• $0 Runner's Party online Event Registration for Chilly Feed and Competition, Awards and Music. BYOB Drinks. (Run not included with this registration).

Packet Pick-Up:

• Saturday, January 24, 2026 12:30 to 1:45 pm at Moran Prairie Grange

The Start:

• Starting line will be in the parking lot of the Moran Prairie Grange

The Finish:

• Overall awards for the 5k race will be given to 1st place Male and Female

• Top 3 in Age Groups Male & Female: 0-7, 8-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

• Cross Country Team awards and 5K Race results will be announced 

• Stay around for the Running Team's Chili Cook-Off, Awards Ceremony and Music. There will be Running Team Chili Cook-off awards 1-4 place.  Delicious Cinnamon Rolls and Hot Drinks will be provided along with the Chili.
