Set for September 6, 2026 (Sunday) at SDAT Nehru Park in Chetpet, Chennai, the fifth edition of the Chennai Kids Running Festival invites young athletes aged 2 to 16 years old to take part in a thrilling 100-meter sprint challenge. This event aims to foster a love for fitness and healthy competition among children while providing an enjoyable and secure environment where they can build confidence and make lasting memories.
Participants will receive a specially designed t-shirt, bib number, finisher medal, certificate of participation, and post-run refreshments as part of their registration package. For the winners in each age category, determined by time trial results, there are additional accolades including merit certificates and mementos for the top three competitors.
Parents play an essential role in ensuring that children adhere to event guidelines throughout the day, contributing to a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
