Each route winds through the picturesque Chasewater Reservoir, offering breathtaking views and an undulating terrain that challenges runners while providing scenic enjoyment.
The event encourages participants to embrace the festive spirit by dressing up in their favorite Easter-themed costumes, though it's not required. This adds a unique twist to the race day experience, making it memorable for all ages.
Runners will be supported every step of the way by enthusiastic volunteers and cheered on by an encouraging crowd, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that is hard to find elsewhere. Upon crossing the finish line, participants receive custom-designed medals as well as complimentary photographs capturing their achievement.
In addition to the medal, leading runners in each category can look forward to trophies and prizes to celebrate their success. Entry fees vary based on race distance: £40 for 20k, £35 for 15k, £30 for 10k, £25 for 5k, and a nominal fee of £7 for the Junior run.
All participants will receive detailed event information ahead of race day to ensure they are well-prepared. Whether you're an experienced runner or just starting out, Chasewater Country Park offers a fantastic setting to enjoy a challenging yet enjoyable springtime race.
