• Global Running Day is an annual celebration of running, held on the first Wednesday of June
• Night of Miles is Charlotte Running Co.'s GRD celebration — a wave‑format mile race
• Pace‑grouped waves: find your wave, line up with runners at your level, and go
• Each wave is its own race with its own $3 entry and its own prize for the winner
