About the event
Join the festive run through charming Silkeborg, where you and your family will enjoy music, dancing, and fireworks along the way. Upon crossing the finish line after a successful race, adults can indulge in sparkling water while kids get soda, all accompanied by delicious krans cake and medals for everyone.
The Champagneløbet offers professional timing with chips, hydration stations throughout the course, and even an opportunity to take a dip at the finish area. Distances range from 2.5 km as "Den sjoveste løb," a fun run suitable for all ages, to more challenging options like the 5 km race, quarter marathon (10.6 km), and half marathon.
Registration fees increase by DKK 20 per entry after December 17th, with a maximum of 1,500 participants allowed. This event is designed for everyone—from families to seasoned runners—making it an ideal way to celebrate the end of the year while setting personal bests in preparation for new beginnings.
