Carver Memorial Library Book It 5K Run/Walk

Join us for a fun, family-friendly 5K as part of Searsport's Fling Into Fall Celebration!  Proceeds from the event will directly support the Carver Memorial Library. 


5K Registration:  $25 for adults / $10 for participants under 18

Start & Finish: Carver Memorial Library 

Kids Fun Run Start: 7:30 AM 1/2 Mile

5K Race Start:  8:00 AM

Bib Pick Up:  Please arrive by 7:30 AM

Free Half-Mile Kids Fun Run

The course begins at the library and takes participants through historic downtown Searsport.  This relative flat and fast course is great for seasoned runners, first-time 5K participants, and walkers. 

Medals will be awarded to top finishers and age-group winners. 

Snacks and drinks will be available after the race at the library.  Restrooms are also available inside the library. 

Timing will be done by 5K Sports Race Management.

This isn't only a road race; it's also a party! Lawn games, snacks, drinks, and crafts will be available for spectators and runners at the library as well.

The course takes runners past the library twice, so there are plenty of opportunities to cheer.

Cancelation & Refund Policy:  This event will be held rain or shine.  In the event of severe weather, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond the control of the organizers, the event may be delayed, modified, postponed or canceled.  If this event is canceled, registration fees will be considered a donation to the Carver Memorial Library.
