Carrera de los Lancers 5K

On Sunday, October 4, 2026, runners of all ages are invited to participate in the Carrera de los Lancers 5K Run/Walk at College of Lake County. The race begins promptly at 10:00am and offers both individual and team registration options.
The event takes place on the scenic grounds surrounding the college's main campus, located at Building F - CLC Gym, 19351 West Washington Street in Grayslake, Illinois. Participants will enjoy a well-marked course that winds through beautiful landscapes while offering glimpses of the college’s vibrant community and facilities.
This race is more than just a run; it's an opportunity to support meaningful causes within the local educational community. Proceeds from Carrera de los Lancers contribute directly to student scholarships at College of Lake County, ensuring greater access and opportunities for students pursuing higher education. Additionally, 25% of all funds raised will go towards supporting students enrolled in the innovative Lancer Independent Contracting Builders Program, which fosters creativity and prepares participants for future careers.
