About the Event

We’re excited to announce that The Canberra Times Marathon Festival, presented by TCS, will take place over two action-packed days – Saturday, 11 April and Sunday, 12 April 2026! This new two-day format allows us to deliver an even better experience for runners and spectators alike. Saturday will feature the Runner’s World 10K, Charterpoint 5K, and Kids Dash, creating a vibrant and family-friendly atmosphere, while Sunday will showcase our premier events – the TCS Marathon (42.2K) and Half Marathon (21.1K) – giving those runners the spotlight they deserve on Canberra’s iconic closed roads.Marathon Cut-Off Time: All marathoners have until 2pm to cross the finish line, allowing approximately 7.5 hours from the start to complete the course. With all distances to be AIMS-certified (excluding the Kids Dash), and over 12,000 participants expected, this is your chance to be part of something special. Plus, enjoy the 3-day Festival Expo from 10–12 April, packed with gear, giveaways, and inspiration. Spots are filling quickly – don’t miss out on Canberra's biggest running event of the year!
