Challenge yourself on a historic trans-Pennine route at the Canalathon Ultra Running Festival along the Rochdale Canal on Sunday, 22 March 2026. This unique event offers four distinct distances, allowing you to choose your own adventure from a terrific 10km to a hearty Half Marathon, a point-to-point 50km ultra, or the formidable 100km ultra that traverses from Yorkshire to Manchester and back. The fully-supported races follow the scenic and historic canal towpath, with the longer distances providing a true test of mental and physical endurance across England's industrial and rural heartlands.
