Cadet Mile - Elementary Cross Country Championship

On September 29, 2026, the community comes together for an exciting day of running and camaraderie at the annual school track meet. This year's edition welcomes young athletes from grades 3 through 5 to compete on a scenic course that showcases their speed and endurance.
The event features separate divisions for each grade level, with boys and girls competing in distinct races tailored specifically to their age group. For those younger than third graders who wish to participate, they will run alongside the third-grade competitors but are still eligible to receive ribbons as part of this division.
Each race promises a competitive atmosphere where runners vie not only for individual accolades but also team honors. Top finishers in each grade and gender category earn coveted awards, while all participants receive ribbon recognition regardless of their placement. The top-performing teams, consisting of at least five members from the same grade and gender, will be celebrated with special prizes.
