In memory of Amaris Eliana Young, the community invites runners and walkers alike to join a heartfelt tribute on Saturday, September 19, 2026. A dedicated student at Christian Ministries Academy, Amaris excelled in volleyball, music, drama, and art, leaving an indelible mark on her peers with her infectious spirit. The event features two races: a timed 1-mile run starting at 8am followed by a chip-timed 5K trail walk/run beginning at 8:30am. Both events will offer participants the chance to honor Amaris’s memory while enjoying scenic trails and challenging terrain. The proceeds from this year's race support Christian Ministries Academy, commemorating Amaris' academic achievements. Registration for both races is open until September 6th; those who sign up by then are guaranteed a commemorative shirt.
