Bun Run - Glasgow (21st November)

BUN RUN invites you to explore Glasgow’s vibrant independent bakeries while enjoying a leisurely 18 km run through the city's south side. Starting and finishing at Church On The Hill, this unique social run features several bakery stops along its carefully planned route, allowing participants to savor treats from local establishments.
Runners are divided into paced groups—5:30 min/km, 6:00 min/km, 6:30 min/km, and 7:00 min/km—to ensure a relaxed atmosphere where conversation flows as freely as the run itself. Each group sets off at staggered intervals to maintain manageable crowds at each bakery stop.
The event takes place on pavements, paths, and public spaces, so runners must be mindful of their surroundings and respectful towards passersby. At every stop, participants receive smaller or half portions of baked goods, ensuring the run remains enjoyable without overwhelming anyone with too much food.
While there are no race results or prizes to compete for, BUN RUN offers an engaging experience that celebrates community spirit and camaraderie among runners. The event concludes back at Church On The Hill where everyone gathers to socialize and enjoy their final pastry treat together.
