Buldak Burning Trail Run

Immerse yourself in nature at Samyang Roundhill, located in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, for an eco-friendly trail-running adventure that celebrates the beauty of South Korea's grasslands and ridgelines. This unique event offers three distinct courses to cater to runners of all abilities.
The 23K course challenges participants with a total elevation gain of 860 meters, starting at 11:00 AM sharp from the heart of Samyang Roundhill. Winding through scenic trails, this route is perfect for those seeking an invigorating and rewarding experience in nature. The shorter but equally captivating 13K course follows shortly after with a start time at noon, featuring a more manageable elevation gain of 440 meters.
For runners looking to enjoy the beauty without pushing their limits too far, there's also a family-friendly 5K option that begins at 12:30 PM. This route offers an easygoing introduction to trail running with just 65 meters in total elevation gain and provides ample opportunities for spectators and young participants alike.
All runners must adhere to the event’s strict Leave No Trace (LNT) principles, ensuring a sustainable approach to enjoying this natural environment while respecting its delicate ecosystem.
Entry fees vary based on course selection: KRW 90,000 for the full 23K experience, KRW 70,000 for the intermediate 13K route, and KRW 50,000 or KRW 30,000 respectively for adult and youth participants in the 5K event.
Participants who complete any of these courses will have access to recovery programs provided by Burning Camping, excluding the Camp Experience. This allows runners to unwind after their run while still engaging with the natural surroundings that make Samyang Roundhill so special.
