Birmingham Track Club Annual Meeting and Party

Once a year we get together to conduct a brief bit of business that includes election of officers and award presentations. After the formalities, the real party begins as we enjoy good friends in a casual atmosphere that doesn't involve running clothes or sweat. Well, there may be some sweat on the dance floor.

Annual Recap

We're assembling a slide show for the party to recap 2025 and we need your help. If you have pictures from BTC races or other events, send them to social@birminghamtrackclub.com. Member photos from other events are also welcome, especially if they feature your BTC gear!

6:00 Annual Business Meeting
(In no particular order)

• Election of Officers
• Presentation of the Dr. Arthur Black/Rick Melanson Annual Service Award
  This is our oldest award and is given to the most outstanding club member over the past year for continued outstanding leadership and service to the BTC.
• Presentation of the Randy Johnson/Danny Haralson Annual Service Award
  This is given to a "newer" member who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and freely given of his or her time in a volunteering capacity in ways that help further the mission of the BTC.
• Presentation of the Kelly Sims Spirit of the BTC Annual Service Award
  This is the inaugural award honoring Kelly Sims.  This award will be given to a member at large who has demonstrated the true spirit of running and the BTC like Kelly always did.  There will also be a special recognition of Kelly's family.
• Presentation of 1200 Mile Club Awards
• Recognition of Volunteer Achievements & Awards

6:30 Let the Party Begin

• Plenty of appetizers, food, and desserts for all registered participants
• Each registered person over 21 years old receives 2 drink tickets. Drinks include beer, wine and select cocktails. Additional drinks are available for purchase.
• DJ cranks up and the dance floor opens!
