Bronte Way Fell Race

On October 25, 2026, runners are invited to participate in a traditional point-to-point race that winds through the picturesque landscapes of Wycoller and Haworth. The event begins at Aisled Barn in Wycoller, where registration opens promptly at 9am for those who have pre-registered by October 20th; no entries will be accepted on the day itself.
The starting line is set up along a footpath adjacent to the barn, which may feature scaffolding due to ongoing roof repairs. The race course spans 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) and includes an elevation gain of 351 meters, offering runners a challenging yet rewarding experience through varied terrain.
Participants will cross the finish line outside the Fleece on Haworth Main Street, where hot soup awaits those who complete their journey. Prize giving follows immediately after all racers have crossed the finish line, with spot prizes available for various categories and age groups. To ensure that everyone can make it to the start without missing a moment of this exhilarating event, two shuttle buses will transport runners from near Haworth Primary School to Atom Panopticon starting at approximately 8:45am.
The route includes a mandatory checkpoint at Ponden Water (4.6 miles), where racers must reach by 12:30pm; those who do not meet this deadline will be asked to stop running and arrangements made for transportation back to the finish line area. All runners are required to carry FRA-mandated kit, though there is no formal check point—cameras along the route may capture any violations.

For those needing additional support, a vehicle will be available at The Fleece for bag drop-off. Once registered, substitutions must be made directly through the Si Entries system by the entrant; no number swaps are allowed after this date to maintain accuracy during race day operations.
