The Brentwood Firecracker 5K is Pittsburgh's most beloved July 4th tradition — a 3.1-mile race through the heart of Brentwood welcoming runners, joggers, and walkers of ALL ages and abilities!

Race day starts at 9:00 AM near Brentwood Towne Square, with thousands lining the course to cheer on every single finisher
The Brentwood 4th of July Parade kicks off immediately after the race, making for an unforgettable Independence Day morning
Awards for top finishers, masters (40+), and all age groups — plus every registrant receives a race T-shirt
Proceeds benefit local organizations including the fire department, library, and food pantry
