BRAT - Eastern Triathlon Series 2026/2027 RACE 1

The Eastern Triathlon Series invites athletes to take on the challenge of its Sun 25 October race at Heffron Park & Des Renford Leisure Centre, offering three distinct races for all ages. The day kicks off with sprint and enticer events designed for adults over 15 years old, featuring a swim in the pool followed by bike and run legs through scenic park trails.
The Sprint Race includes a 700-meter swim (14 laps), a grueling 20-kilometer cycle course (10 laps), and concludes with a 5-kilometer run on smooth asphalt paths. The Enticer Race is equally thrilling, but scaled down to a 200-meter pool swim (4 laps) and shorter bike/run distances of 10 kilometers and 2.5 kilometers respectively.
For younger athletes aged between 10-14 years old, there's the Kids Race starting at 11:00 am with its own unique course including a short 100-meter pool swim (2 laps), followed by a challenging yet manageable bike ride of 4 kilometers and a concluding run of 1 kilometer.
Competitors can look forward to competitive prize money up to $150 for the top finishers in each category, as well as an engaging race day atmosphere filled with support from fellow athletes and enthusiastic volunteers. Make sure to arrive early on October 25th to register between 7:30 am and set up your transition area before heading into a detailed briefing at 9:00 am.
