Join runners and walkers from across Ontario for the 102nd Boxing Day Run, Canada’s oldest road race — happening right here in Hamilton! This scenic winter classic combines festive energy, community spirit, and a truly historic course. Register for 2025 The 2025 event marks the 102nd running of this storied race. The start and finish lines are located together at King William and Hughson Street North, just three short blocks from the downtown YMCA. Choose your distance: 10-Mile Run 4-Mile Run / Walk The course runs through downtown streets and along a paved waterfront trail, offering a mix of beauty and challenge for runners of all levels. Race Day Experience Enjoy a warm, fully indoor race hub inside the YMCA Main Gymnasium, featuring: ​Bib & race-wear pickup Post-race refreshments and awards Change rooms with showers Welcoming space for spectators and families Please note: The Start & Finish lines are now together on Hughson Street, just north of King Street.
