About the Event

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Derwentwater, the Borrowdale Trail Half Marathon offers trail runners an unforgettable experience with its diverse and scenic terrain. Spanning 21 kilometers, this well-marked course winds through the picturesque fells around Keswick, inviting participants to immerse themselves in stunning natural beauty at every step.
The race begins promptly at 8:30am from Lingholm before winding its way back to Crow Park on Lake Road for both registration and the finish line. Competitors can expect a rewarding challenge that showcases the area's rugged yet enchanting landscapes, with undulating trails offering a mix of climbs and descents.
Upon crossing the finish line, all participants will receive a custom-designed medal as well as access to event photography downloads. To celebrate top performances, prizes are awarded to the first three male and female overall winners along with age group champions.
