Borgen Outdoor Run

Welcome to the Borgen Outdoor Run, taking place on October 10, 2025, in Värnamo. This challenging race is designed for runners who enjoy pushing their limits with an engaging course that will keep your heart rate up throughout its entirety.
The event features a 9.5 km route with approximately 200 meters of elevation gain, winding through varied terrain including forest paths and trails. The landscape offers beautiful natural vistas along the way. Participants should be prepared for uneven ground and may want to wear stable shoes suitable for mixed surfaces like gravel and snow.
Water stations are conveniently placed at around 3.5 km, then again at approximately 7 km from the start line, ensuring runners stay hydrated as they progress through this scenic course. The race begins promptly at 11:00 AM with a common starting point for both men's and women’s categories, welcoming all ages to join in.
Registration is open until October 4, 2026, via www.mittlopp.se where detailed instructions are provided on how to sign up. Please note that if you're representing your club or town during the race, make sure these details are included along with your birth year for statistical purposes required by Svenska friidrottsförbundet.
Entry fees include 195 SEK for individual participants and complimentary entry for teams (three members). Fun runners should note that a late registration fee of 70 SEK applies if signed up after the deadline but before race day. Late sign-ups can also be processed on-site between 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
Race numbers are available from 9:30 AM at Friluftsgården Borgen and must remain visible throughout the run, especially during the finish line process where participants will receive a complimentary waffle and drink upon completion of their race.
Changing facilities and restroom access are provided in close proximity to the start/finish area. Post-race refreshments like coffee, light snacks, freshly baked pancakes, and drinks can be purchased on-site for those looking to celebrate or refuel after crossing the finish line.
