Boghopper Races - The Rebel and Realm Trail Marathon

Boghopper Races presents an exciting addition to their calendar with a beginner-friendly Trail Marathon set against the picturesque backdrop of Diss. This circular route weaves through both the Boudicca Way and Angles Way Long Distance Paths, offering runners stunning scenery and varied terrain.
The event kicks off at Hope Church on Vinces Road in Diss, where registration begins promptly at 06:30 AM for those who wish to secure their spot early. Participants can enjoy a hassle-free start as the race starts precisely at 8:30 AM from the same location. The church is conveniently located just minutes away from Diss train station, making it easily accessible by rail with frequent connections to Norwich and London.
The marathon course totals approximately 42 kilometers (26.2 miles) and features a mix of gentle rolling hills and flat stretches along well-maintained paths that wind through the countryside. The route is designed to cater to both novice runners and experienced trail enthusiasts, offering an enjoyable challenge without being overly technical or difficult.
Upon crossing the finish line back at Hope Church, participants will be greeted with refreshments including a light meal and drinks. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, adding an element of friendly competition to the event. Additionally, runners have the opportunity to purchase commemorative t-shirts if they wish to take home a memento from their race day.
