Giddy up for a rootin'-tootin' early-season trail showdown in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania at Blazing Saddles, March 14, 2026. Presented by the York Road Runners Club, this classic event on the Ranger Trail at Codorus State Park offers an 8-mile, 25k, and a tough 50k that loops the rugged, muddy singletrack and horse trails up to four times. With a playful Western theme, the race embraces whatever wild weather March throws down—be it rain, sleet, snow, or mud—promising a true test of grit and trail sense.

All proceeds from the event support a local animal rescue, adding a noble cause to your run. Registrants by February 18th secure Blazing Saddles swag, and the top three men and women in each distance earn prizes. With a strict no-crew, no-pacer policy and a 5:00 PM cutoff, this is a self-reliant adventure for cowboys and cowgirls seeking an authentic, no-frills trail run with plenty of heart and character.
