Black Hill Run

Nestled within the rolling hills and expansive skies of Dorset, the Black Hill Run offers runners an unforgettable trail experience. This annual event features concurrent 5km and 10km races that wind through diverse terrain including gravel paths, sandy tracks, muddy trails, dense forests, and steep ascents.

Whether you're tackling the shorter route or pushing yourself further on the longer distance, chip timing ensures an accurate record of your efforts while allowing both races to proceed smoothly alongside each other.
Adding to the unique charm of this event is its welcoming policy for four-legged companions; dog runners are encouraged to join with their human partners under UK CaniCross rules. This inclusive spirit extends beyond just the race itself and into a post-race celebration at the Scout HQ, where homemade cake and tea await all participants.
Proceeds from the Black Hill Run go directly towards supporting Bere Regis Scout Group's initiatives for young community members aged 6 to 25, making this not only an athletic challenge but also a meaningful contribution to local youth development.
