About the Event

A sports and recreation event in Yasu, Shiga, organized to give residents a place to take part in sport and to root it in everyday life, with the broader goal of a healthy and lively Shiga.
The program is built around relay-style team categories. The Enjoy Mix Class (5km) pairs elementary school pupils in grades 4 to 6 with adults, in a team of five runners over five 1km legs. The Challenge Class (15km) is for junior high school students and older, with five runners on 3km legs and at least one woman on each team. A Premium Class over 32km is also offered.
