BEYOND LONDON ULTRA TRAIL RUNS - 55KM & 25KM EARLY BIRD PRICES

Experience London like never before at Beyond London by Wild Deer Events, where runners are invited to explore hidden trails and unexpected views beyond the usual tourist spots. This unique trail running event offers two challenging routes: a 55km ultra marathon and a 25km trail run. Both courses take you off the beaten track onto Greater London’s inner circle along the Capital Ring footpath.
The 55km route is designed for those seeking an epic adventure, featuring iconic landmarks such as Eltham Palace and Richmond Park alongside lesser-known trails through ancient woodlands and disused railway lines. Runners will enjoy fully signed routes with support from Wild Deer Events throughout their journey. Three feed stations are strategically placed along the course to provide nourishment, medical assistance, and toilet facilities.
For those looking for a shorter but equally rewarding experience, the 25km trail run offers stunning views of Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park while revealing London's everyday beauty in unexpected ways. This route also benefits from well-placed feed stations and comprehensive support services.
Registration opens early at both start locations: Dial Arch Square in Woolwich (SE18 6GH) for the ultra marathon, with staggered starts between 7-7:30am on June 5th, 2027. For the trail run starting from Upper Norwood Recreation Ground (SE19 3TE), registration will be available from 9am, and runners will set off in small groups between 10-10:30am.
Participants can enjoy a bag drop service at both start locations for convenience during their race. The finish line is located at Old Deer Park, where refreshments await all participants upon completion of the event.
Both races are equipped with chip timing and medical support throughout to ensure safety and accuracy in recording times. Each runner will also receive a bespoke finishers medal as well as access to Wild Deer merchandise.
