Devon Running Events invites runners of all abilities to join us on January 1, 2028 for an inclusive and flexible race experience. For those looking to extend their stay in the picturesque county, we also offer events on December 31, 2027 and January 2, 2028. Our unique 'TUGG' system—Turn Up Get Going—allows participants to start at any time between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM as long as they complete their final lap by 3:30 PM. The race course winds along a scenic, disused railway track that offers stunning views of the Devon countryside. Each loop measures precisely 5.3 kilometers out and back on well-maintained tarmac, making it suitable for both runners and walkers alike. The flat terrain ensures accessibility for all levels of fitness while providing an enjoyable route through lush landscapes. Participants can choose to complete one lap or push themselves further by tackling multiple laps within the designated timeframe. Regardless of how many loops you manage before 3:30 PM, every finisher will be awarded a commemorative medal celebrating their achievement. The event is designed for flexibility and inclusivity, ensuring that everyone from casual walkers to competitive runners can participate at their own pace. Spaces are limited, so early registration is recommended to secure your spot in this unique running experience.
