Devon Running Events invites runners of all abilities to experience its unique "TUGG" system on December 31, 2027, and the first few days of January 2028. The TUGG (Turn Up Get Going) concept allows participants to start at any time between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM but requires everyone to finish by 3:30 PM. This flexible format caters to both casual walkers and seasoned runners, ensuring that all can enjoy the scenic route along an old disused train line.
The course features a precisely measured 5.3-kilometer out-and-back loop, providing ample opportunities for multiple laps within the designated timeframe. Participants will traverse a well-maintained tarmac path through picturesque landscapes, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere to enhance your running or walking experience.
Whether you aim to complete one lap or push yourself to run 14 laps or more, every finisher is celebrated as a winner with a commemorative medal awaiting them at the end. Given that spots are limited for this popular event, early registration is recommended to secure your place and ensure an unforgettable start to the New Year in Devon's scenic countryside.
