(Beginners Welcome) Gamagori and Mikawa Bay Scenic Trail Run 16 km (【はじめての方歓迎】蒲郡・三河湾絶景トレイルラン16km)

This trail running workshop covers about 16 km through the mountains of Toyokawa and Gamagori, with views over Mikawa Bay. The route is an out-and-back traverse from Mt. Miyaji to Mt. Goi, two popular hiking peaks in eastern Mikawa.
Participants learn about clothing, equipment, trail manners and running technique. The course has stairs and ups and downs, but long climbs are walked rather than run. It suits road runners and hikers new to trail running, and first-timers and solo entrants are welcome. The group is small, which suits those who are nervous about going alone or uneasy on descents.
