Bedz 4 Kidz 5K

Join the 3rd Annual Bedzzz 4 Kidzzz 5K Run/Walk as we unite to ensure every child has access to a safe and comfortable place to sleep. This year’s event marks its debut in Starkville, kicking off from St. Joseph's Catholic Church with a course that winds through some of the city’s most picturesque areas.
Participants will navigate quiet residential streets before entering Mississippi State University’s vibrant district, offering glimpses of serene tree-lined sections along College View and University Drive. The route also passes by notable landmarks such as the Hunter Henry Center, one of the university's premier conference facilities, and the MSU Soccer Complex. Scenic green spaces and campus gateways highlight the heart of Starkville.
The mostly paved course is designed to cater to all fitness levels—competitive runners can aim for personal bests while casual joggers and walkers enjoy a leisurely pace through charming neighborhoods and lively university grounds. The event aims to create a sense of community, with participants experiencing the warmth and support of local residents along the way.
Proceeds from every registration contribute directly to Bedzzz 4 Kidzzz, a ministry of The Dream Center dedicated to providing beds, mattresses, bedding, and hope for children in need throughout our community. Every step taken during this event helps make a tangible difference in the lives of countless young people who currently lack proper sleeping arrangements.
