About the Event

A beach towel as race swag. A massive finisher medal. Free beer at a beachfront restaurant. Welcome to the 10th annual Beach & Back Half Marathon & 5K in Marshfield, Massachusetts, on Sunday, June 14, 2026 — organized by Wicked Fast Race Co. and RaceWire. The half marathon starts at 7:30 AM, the 5K at 8:00 AM. Both finish near the Brant Rock esplanade, with the after‑party at The Jetty.

Swag & Post‑Race:

Both distances include: custom beach towel, massive finisher medal, free beer at The Jetty (21+ with ID), professional chip‑timed bib, free snacks, and post‑race party access.
Half marathon participants also receive a custom drawstring bag.

Schedule:

Race morning packet pickup: 6:30–7:30 AM near finish line (Brant Rock esplanade, 278 Ocean St, Marshfield — Jetty parking lot).
Late registration available on race morning (cash/check/Venmo).
After‑party starts directly after the race at The Jetty.

Parking & Shuttle (no parking on Plymouth Avenue):

Recommended parking: Governor Winslow School (60 Regis Rd, Marshfield) — free bus shuttle runs every 10 minutes from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Half marathon runners should be on the bus by 7:00 AM. 5K runners by 7:30 AM. Runners have priority over spectators on the bus.
Street parking allowed only in designated areas (see course map). Do not block driveways or park on private property.
Carpooling recommended.

Awards (must be present — no mailing):

Top 3 overall male/female (both distances).
Top male/female in age groups: 1‑19, 20‑29, 30‑39, 40‑49, 50‑59, 60‑69, 70‑79, 80+.

Navigation:

Follow red directional arrows at key points (turns, straightaways).
Orange spray chalk on the ground + volunteers at key turns.
Stay to the right at all times and watch for traffic.
Courses available online (linked on event page).

About Marshfield

Learn more about the host city, Marshfield.

Marshfield is a town on the South Shore of Massachusetts in Plymouth County. It includes the villages of Brant Rock, Green Harbor, Ocean Bluffs, North Marshfield, and Marshfield Hills. It is best known as the home of Daniel Webster an important national political figure from 1832 until his death in 1852. He was also known as "the farmer of Marshfield." Marshfield has a yearly population of 25,000 people (2010) which grows to about 40,000 during the summer because of its location on the coast.
