Join us for the 5th Annual Be Happy 5K, a vibrant celebration of movement and community aimed at supporting youth mental health in Minnesota. This year’s edition promises to be an inspiring morning filled with activities that cater to all ages and abilities.
Set against the backdrop of Prior Lake or available virtually, participants can look forward to engaging in either a spirited run, leisurely walk, or cheering on young athletes during the 50-yard dash for kids aged 13 and under. The event is designed not only as a physical challenge but also as an opportunity to come together with like-minded individuals who share a commitment to making a difference.
In addition to the core race options, this year’s Be Happy 5K features exciting post-race festivities that include live music, refreshments, a sauna session, and even a cold plunge for those looking to cool off. The atmosphere is further enhanced by various vendors offering unique products and services, creating an electric ambiance that keeps everyone engaged long after the race concludes.
Registration comes with a T-shirt as part of your entry fee if you sign up before September 5th or choose to participate in person rather than virtually. For those who want to enhance their experience, raffle tickets are available for purchase at $15 for one ticket, $25 for two, and $40 for five.
The event aims to raise a significant amount of funds—$10,000—to support the Shine A Light Foundation’s initiatives in promoting mental health awareness among young people. Every step taken contributes directly towards making a positive impact on the lives of Minnesota's youth.
