Basin Dolly Dash

Step into the vibrant heart of Basin on December 2, 2026, for the Basin Dolly Dash! This year's edition celebrates the spirit and legacy of Dolly Parton by uniting runners and walkers to support those living with HIV. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking for an enjoyable community event, this dash offers something special.
The morning kicks off at dawn as participants gather in Basin Park, ready to embark on either the 1-mile run/walk or the competitive 5K race through scenic pathways and charming neighborhoods. The course is designed with safety and enjoyment in mind, winding past historic sites and local landmarks that highlight Basin's unique character.
For those competing in the 5K, there are awards for first, second, and third place finishers to recognize your efforts on this meaningful day. After crossing the finish line, take advantage of a variety of community services set up along the route, including free and confidential STI testing provided by local health organizations.
Warm up with a complimentary drink as you mingle with fellow participants at the event's wrap-up area. The first 75 registered runners will also receive a special gift to commemorate their participation in this heartfelt celebration.
Join us for an uplifting day filled with music, spirit-lifting messages, and a community coming together to raise awareness and support those affected by HIV/AIDS.
