About the Event

Run through one of the most stunning landscapes on Earth in the heart of Banff, Alberta – Canada’s first National Park. With limited spots available, early registration is highly recommended, as thousands were turned away in 2025! Starting in downtown Banff, participants will journey past the serene Vermilion Lakes, along the Legacy Trail, and through the Bow Valley Parkway, experiencing breathtaking natural, wildlife, and historical highlights. The route returns alongside the Bow River to a festive finish at Banff Central Park, cheered on by enthusiastic crowds. Virtual Run Option: Can’t make it to Banff in person? Join the Virtual Run! About Banff

The town of Banff in Banff National Park, in the Canadian Rockies, is the larger of the two populated areas in Banff National Park, about an hour and a half drive west of Calgary and four hours south of Jasper. Banff is part of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks UNESCO World Heritage Site. Like many mountain towns, Banff has a very different character in winter and summer. There is a decent selection of bars and restaurants but predictably a few too many souvenir shops and boutiques. European travellers will especially welcome the sidewalks that facilitate exploration of the town on foot.
