Bandon Orienteering Map Launch

On October 19, 2026, Orienteering Ireland invites participants to explore the charming town through an innovative scavenger hunt using the MapRun App. The event kicks off at Lidl Carpark between 3pm and 5pm, where attendees will receive a brief orientation from a representative of Orienteering Ireland on how to use the app effectively. Once familiarized with the technology, individuals or groups are free to navigate through the town’s winding streets and hidden corners at their own pace. This event is designed for all skill levels; no prior experience is necessary. Participants should be mindful of their safety while enjoying this unique way to discover local landmarks and scenic spots. A photographer will also capture moments from the launch, adding a memorable touch to your adventure.
Join in on October 19th to uncover the town’s hidden gems through an engaging blend of technology and exploration.
