BAMBURGH CASTLE WILD 10KM TRAIL RUN

Bamburgh Castle Wild 10km Trail Run offers runners an unforgettable adventure along Northumberland's breathtaking coastline. Joining the popular Sprint and Standard Duathlons, this trail run invites participants to explore the scenic paths and trails around Bamburgh Castle on a Saturday morning.
The event is designed for all fitness levels, ensuring that both seasoned athletes and casual joggers can enjoy the stunning scenery. With views of the North Sea and historic castle walls in the background, runners will experience the best of coastal England during their 10km journey.
Participants will start near Bamburgh Castle's car park on Links Road, with live chip timing provided by Timing Up North to ensure accurate results. The route itself is a mix of paths and trails that wind through the castle grounds and along the beach, offering a unique blend of terrain and breathtaking views.
For those who enjoy running with their canine companions, this event welcomes one controlled dog per runner, making it perfect for canicross enthusiasts as well.
Upon crossing the finish line, all participants will receive an exclusive event medal and Wild Deer merchandise. Refreshments such as snacks and drinks are also provided to help runners refuel after their run.
An additional perk of signing up is access to a specially designed Event T-Shirt available for purchase at £14 during registration.
Parking is conveniently located on-site with space available for £4 per vehicle, payable by cash or card. To minimize traffic congestion in the area and promote environmentally friendly travel options, organizers encourage car sharing or using alternative modes of transportation like walking or cycling to reach Bamburgh Castle.
For those who need additional parking, public lots are also accessible within Bamburgh village.
