The Baltimore Wet Weekend
- returning this September in aid of the Wild Atlantic Pool & Gym
(A community-run pool and gym, open to everyone across West Cork).
Join us for a watery weekend with the main event being an open water swim in one of Ireland's most beautiful coastal villages, Baltimore. The iconic Sherkin Island 2km Swim is the highlight — a classic crossing from Sherkin Island pier back to Baltimore Pier, starting at 4pm on Saturday the 26th of September.
Whether you're a seasoned open water swimmer or making your first sea crossing, the Sherkin swim is an experience like no other. Two kilometres of wild Atlantic harbour water, stunning scenery, and a finish line in one of West Cork's most welcoming villages.
And when you're out of the water, the craic is only starting. Baltimore comes alive after the swim — stay on, dry off, and enjoy the evening with fellow swimmers and the local community.
Come for the swim. Stay for the weekend.
Swim, Explore & Catch up!
