Race Info: Course Update: Welcome to the beautiful and historic Ravine Gardens State Park! During the race you will be surrounded buy old Florida native plants, wildlife, and several historical landmarks. Route leads you down the ravine with towering oaks that provide a tunnel like canopy. This exciting route is run on a paved USATF Measured 2 mile loop route. Course has several winding curves and a few hills which will keep you entertained. Don't forget to take lots of photos! Race Information: Race Day: Set up begins Saturday, November 7th at 6am Mandatory Prerace meeting starts at 7:30am for all races. ALL Races starts at 8am 50mi runners have a strict 15 hour cutoff. 50k runners have a strict 10 hour cutoff. Course set up: Tents and canopies are allowed to be set up race day only. Your area must stay clean and tidy during race weekend! Please make sure your equipment is working properly. Solo (non-crewed) runners will have a few spots reserved. Remaining spots will be at a first come first serve bases. Aid Station: Staple foods will be in plenty! If you have any special dietary needs please come prepared. We are happy to help accommodate within reason. We will also have hot items: soups, sandwiches, quesadillas, etc... Order up and it will be ready on your next lap!! Hydration Station: Each runner's bottle will need to be marked. A table will be set up for you to easily grab your bottle from or drop off. We can fill while you make the turn near Mike Melton's start/finish line. Local Points of Interest: Food, convince stores, hotels, and several stores are within a 5 mile drive. We do encourage you to shop local. Largest city will be Palatka. Night time: It's dark at night! Personal lighting is mandatory, bring headlamps or handhelds. We are up with you throughout the wee hours. Timing: Mike Melton, owner of MCM Timing, will be your timing professional. Your data/tracking is backed up constantly and that information has backups to backups. Mike is the #1 race timer in the country you'll be in great hands!
