About the Event

Autumn Open Water Swims at Dock 9, Salford Quays, M50 3AZ invites both seasoned swimmers and beginners to embrace the crisp autumn air with refreshing swims. Located along the tranquil waters of Salford Quays, this event offers a serene setting for those looking to enjoy open water swimming during cooler months.
For Bronze and Squid members, Dock 9 provides an exclusive opportunity to secure your spot at a discounted rate ahead of time. Non-members are also welcome to pre-book their slots to ensure they don’t miss out on the experience. While walk-up participants can still join in, be prepared for slightly higher 'On The Day' fees.
Safety is paramount during these swims. Swimmers must bring or hire a tow-float from Dock 9 to enhance visibility and safety measures while enjoying the water.
Swim sessions are scheduled as follows:
- May-August: Saturdays from 8am to 11am, Wednesdays from 5pm to 7:30pm
- September: Saturdays from 10am to 12pm
Please note that last entry is allowed up until 15 minutes before the swim session concludes.
