Autumn Open Water Swims at Dock 9, Salford Quays offers swimmers an ideal setting to enjoy open water sessions amidst the scenic beauty of Manchester’s waterfront. Whether you’re part of Bronze or Squid membership levels, secure your spot early and take advantage of discounted rates for a more affordable swimming experience. Even non-members have the opportunity to pre-book their place at Dock 9, ensuring they can join in without worrying about availability on the day.
Safety is paramount during these swims. All participants are encouraged to bring along their tow-float or opt to hire one from the venue if needed. The event runs regularly throughout May to August with sessions scheduled every Saturday from 8am to 11am and Wednesdays between 5pm and 7:30pm, providing a flexible schedule for swimmers of all ages.
As autumn sets in, the swims continue on Saturdays but shift slightly later in the day, running from 10am to noon. Swimmers are reminded that last entry is allowed up until 15 minutes before each session concludes, ensuring everyone has ample time to prepare and enjoy their swim without rushing.
