(Autumn Foliage Kyoto) Higashiyama Trail Run 21km - Fushimi to Daimonji (【紅葉の京都】東山トレイルラン21km｜伏見〜大文字)

This guided 21K trail run links Kyoto's historic sights and nature in the Higashiyama hills, from Fushimi to Shogunzuka and up Daimonji. From the Daimonji fire-pit site there is a panoramic view over the whole city. The route is long and has many climbs, so some running and hiking fitness is needed, though runners walk the steep sections and take breaks. Temple grounds and some popular hiking trails are covered on foot for safety. It is run as a group tour led by a coach with over 15 years of trail running and 14 years of teaching experience, and past participants say it is easy to join alone and enjoyable for beginners. The organizer holds a moshicom user satisfaction award two years running, with a rating of about 4.79 across more than 1,600 reviews.
