The Austin Bakery Run is a non-competitive, sweets-powered 10K weaving through the heart of Austin, pairing a scenic run with a curated crawl through some of the city’s most beloved bakeries. Spanning 6.2 miles, runners will stop at multiple bakery and pastry shops along the way to enjoy local specialties, turning a traditional run into a delicious celebration of Austin’s desserts scene.
Designed for runners of all levels, the Austin Bakery Run is perfect for those looking to run, jog, or run/walk while enjoying the experience. GOOD GRiEF Run Club will be the exclusive run club partner for Austin Bakery Run 2026, leading each wave of runners and setting the overall vibes - helping to ensure the run is welcoming, supportive, and most importantly, fun.
As part of the experience, all registered runners will receive a gift bag at the end of the run filled with additional food, fitness and wellness goodies from local brands.
Additionally, a portion of all lottery ticket proceeds will benefit All For Lunch, a non-profit organization that works to eliminate school lunch debt across the Austin Independent School District. Your support helps create a future where no student has to worry about hunger during their school day, allowing them to focus on learning, growing, and achieving their full potential.
Taking place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, the inaugural run will be a limited lottery sign up event ensuring a thoughtfully curated experience. The official run route and participating bakeries will be shared in advance.

About Austin
Learn more about the host city, Austin.
Austin is a city of about 965,000 people (2021) on the southeast edge of the Hill Country region of Texas, making it the fourth-largest city in the state and the 11th-largest in the country. It is the capital of Texas and a college town, and also a center of an alternative culture away from the major cities on the US coasts, though the city is rapidly gentrifying with its rising popularity. Austin's attitude is commonly emblazoned about town on T-shirts and bumper stickers that read: "Keep Austin Weird." Austin is also marketed as the Live Music Capital of the World due to the large number of venues.
