Join us on Sunday, September 20, 2026, for the third installment of the prestigious ATW St Neots Triathlon Series. This year’s lineup features an exciting addition: a Middle Distance option alongside the beloved Sprint, Standard, and Super Sprint races. Set in the heart of picturesque St Neots, this event is designed to cater to triathletes at all levels, from beginners looking for their first open water experience to seasoned athletes chasing personal bests. The race takes place against the backdrop of the beautiful River Ouse, offering a serene setting that enhances both performance and enjoyment. The day kicks off with an invigorating swim in the river, followed by scenic bike rides through Cambridgeshire’s rolling countryside and charming villages. Participants then transition to a riverside run around Riverside Park, where the finish line is celebrated amidst a vibrant atmosphere of support from spectators and fellow athletes. St Neots’ town center is just minutes away, providing easy access to local amenities such as cafes and shops for post-race relaxation or last-minute preparation needs. Race options are diverse: - Super Sprint Triathlon: 400m swim / 9km bike / 2.5km run - Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim / 24km bike / 5km run - Standard Triathlon: 1,500m swim / 46km bike / 10km run - Middle Distance Triathlon: 2.25km swim / 89km bike / 20km run Relay teams can also participate in both the Standard and Middle Distance events. The event is draft-illegal, ensuring fair competition for all participants. The Middle Distance race begins at 7:30 AM, with other races starting from 8:45 AM onwards. Cut-off times apply to ensure safety: - Super Sprint, Sprint & Standard: No time limits - Middle Distance Aquabike: Overall cut-off of 5 hours and 30 minutes - Middle Distance Triathlon: - Bike must be completed by 5:30 PM - Total event completion deadline is 8:30 PM Camping options are available for those wishing to stay the night before the race, adding a touch of convenience. The venue’s easy access and spectator-friendly layout make it ideal for both participants and supporters. Additional perks include free professional photos at the finish line, custom-designed medals upon completion, and post-race snacks. Wetsuit hire is also available through Zone3, ensuring every athlete has the gear they need to perform their best.
