ATW Grafham Triathlon

Grafham Water, known for its crystal-clear waters and serene surroundings, provides the perfect setting for both sprint and standard distance events. Competitors can choose between two challenging yet rewarding race formats:
- Standard Distance Triathlon: Swim 1500m in Grafham's pristine reservoir, cycle a flat out-and-back course of 38km through charming villages, and complete a scenic run along the dam wall for a total of 10 kilometers.

- Sprint Distance Triathlon: Dive into the same refreshing waters but swim half as far (750m), pedal 17 kilometers on the flat route to Perry village, then finish with a swift 5 kilometer jog around Grafham Water.
Both distances offer well-marked courses and supportive marshals ensuring that every participant receives encouragement throughout their journey. The run course takes you past iconic landmarks such as the dam wall before looping back towards the transition area where cheering crowds await your return.
For those who prefer to focus solely on swimming and cycling, a standard distance Aquabike option is available. Additionally, teams can compete together in relay formats involving two or three members sharing different disciplines.
On-site amenities include options for overnight camping at Lakeview Paddock as well as dormitory-style accommodation near Grafham Water Centre, making it convenient to arrive early and get plenty of rest before the big day.
Participants will not only enjoy a picturesque setting but also receive custom-designed medals upon completion. Free event photos are provided, capturing memorable moments throughout your race experience.
