The Ashley Rizzuto Memorial METAvivor #LightUpMBC Color Walk takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 9:00 AM EDT starting from 347 West Penn Avenue in Robesonia, Pennsylvania, USA. This family-friendly 1-mile color walk/run features a Color Blaze color-powder toss at the start, pink, teal and green color stations where participants are sprayed with color powder by volunteers, plus a DJ, food, giveaways, and children's activities – all to raise funds for metastatic breast cancer research through METAvivor.

Event Logistics and Participant Information:

• Schedule: 9:00 AM – Check-in, visit vendors, enjoy coffee, live DJ, and treats. 10:30 AM – Warm-up, race kickoff and color toss. 10:45 AM – Race begins.
• Participation Options: Register individually, create a team, or join an existing team. Fundraising pages are available through Race Roster. Donations can also be made directly to support MBC research. Sponsorship opportunities are available via the event link.
• T-Shirts: Participants who register by May 10 receive a free event T-shirt. After May 10, T-shirts are available for purchase on the site but will be distributed AFTER the event (June 7). T-shirts are not available for sale at the event. If you miss the deadline, wear a white shirt to proudly display MBC colors.
• What to Bring: Sunglasses are a must to protect your eyes. Feel free to bring your own, or sunglasses will be available for sale on event day.
• Fundraising: Optional but encouraged. Every dollar goes toward saving lives. Set up a fundraising page during registration to share with family and friends.

• In Loving Memory of Ashley Rizzuto (1983–2024): Ashley was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in July 2021, which had already metastasized to her liver. She underwent targeted therapy, hormone blockers, and later targeted radiation. She passed away on August 26, 2024, at age 41. The event continues her passion for raising awareness and funding for metastatic breast cancer research.

Route and Atmosphere:

• Color Walk Experience: A 1-mile color walk/run – no experience necessary. The race starts with a Color Blaze color-powder toss, and participants pass through pink, teal, and green color stations where volunteers spray them with Color Blaze color powder.
• Family-Friendly Activities: DJ, food, giveaways, and children's activities make this an unforgettable event for the whole family.
• Mission & Hope: More research, more treatment options, and, one day, a cure. The event walks for Ashley and all those who have fought and won, those who are still fighting, and those who fought to the end.
• Community Spirit: A supportive, vibrant, and colorful celebration of life and hope, bringing together families, friends, and supporters to raise awareness for metastatic breast cancer.
