About the Event

Experience the vibrant heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains at the Asheville Marathon and Half, presented by New Belgium, on Saturday, March 21, 2026, with a 7:30 AM start from downtown's Pack Square Park. This boutique-style race showcases Asheville's eclectic charm with a scenic USATF-certified course winding through historic neighborhoods, the artistic River Arts District, and along the picturesque French Broad River Greenway. The marathon is a Boston Qualifier, offering a serious challenge amidst breathtaking landscapes, while both distances provide a first-class running experience complete with live music and local flavor.

Your registration includes premium swag, a custom finisher medal, complimentary photos, and a post-race New Belgium beer, capping off a celebration of community and resilience. As the first event in the Appalachian Trilogy series, it's the perfect opportunity to embark on a multi-race adventure in one of the Southeast's most beloved running destinations.
